I had to share this wonderful website I discovered. It's called the toymaker and it is filled with lots of paper toys to make with your kids, or gifts to make for others and it is all free! There is also a book to buy, but everything on the website is free to download and use. I can't wait to try some of them with my boys.

All 5 of us!
Eastin, Elissa, Nicole, Schuyler, and Jeanette
It's not often all 5 of us are all together anymore. We all happened to be in Nashville this last weekend and were able to take a couple pictures. It was good to be together, I wish it happened more often!

Happy Birthday Again Preston!
We had Preston's Nascar themed birthday party yesterday with all of our family. I asked my sister in law Amanda to take pictures because I am always too busy at parties, and she always has cute pictures of her kids. There are lots of good ones, so thanks Amanda! I am posting a lot of them for my mom, because she is still in Georgia with my grandfather, and wasn't able to come to the party.
We started the party off with a bean bag toss
Everyone got a prize
Then we played pin the mustache on Jeff Gordon. Don't you like how there's a Nascar poster on an old truck? It just seemed to fit the party!
So we thought all the kids should climb in the back of Schuyler's truck for a cute picture!
This is preston's cupcake cake
Preston loves all his gifts
This party wore him out!
Thanks to everyone for making his day so special!

Happy Birthday Preston!
Yesterday was Preston's 5th birthday! I can't believe he is already 5 and starting school in the fall. When he woke up yesterday he said "If I am 5, why don't I feel 5? My pajamas still fit and my hands aren't any bigger"! He has been telling me for months things that he will do when he is 5. We took him to Chuck E. Cheese yesterday, and have a bigger party planned for this next weekend. I tried to find pictures of him on his different birthdays, but my computer won't read the disks from my old computer. These are some pictures I do have, and this post may change some if I can get my pictures opened!

My grandparents were in a car accident last week, and my grandmother passed away. She was another mother to me, and I loved her very much. My grandfather is still in the hospital, but doing better, and will hopefully be released soon. I just wanted to do a post and tell everyone thank you for helping with my boys, for the flowers, and mostly for the prayers. I truly feel blessed to have had her for a grandmother and a friend all these years. The following is part of her obituary:
Patricia Ann Smith, age 74, passed away Monday June 2, 2008.
Born on July 29, 1933 in Santa Monica, CA., the daughter of the late Arthur Leon and Alice Lucille Palmer. She and her two brothers loved the beaches of California and grew up riding their surfboards with their dad. She moved to Cobb County, GA., where she met her husband Gene A. Smith on a blind date and where they raised their daughters. She was baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in 1971 and she and her husband later served as missionaries in Missouri. She was known for her knowledge and passion of family history and her devotion to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. She also loved computers and technology, her dog Napoleon, and being with her family. Pat is deeply loved by many, many people because she always showed her sincere love and acceptance of them.

We spent the week in Bristol, Tn with my sister and her family a week ago. There are 4 boys under the age of 5, so to say it was an adventure is an understatement! My sister Jeanette came with us and you would think with 4 kids and 4 adults it wouldn't be so difficult,but...! We had a good time though, the boys played outside and we went to the Nascar museum, played rock band, and made them go out shopping with us a couple of times. It is always fun to go and visit.
My boys love Nascar, that is what their room is decorated in, and what the theme of the birthday party we are planning is, so every time we go visit they beg to go.
Our picture pose turned into ring around the roses- they have such a fun time together!

Mother's Day

I am just now getting to Mother's Day which was a week ago. I have had a busy week, and have just now had a chance to play on my computer. Patrick, Preston, and Gavin gave me this printer for Mother's Day and I love it! I like to scrapbook, but am sad to say that I haven't really done it since Preston's 1st birthday (he will be 5 next month)! I mentioned to Patrick that maybe I would try digital scrapbooking and would love one of the 12x12 printers. So now I have no excuse to put it off, I have all the tools, if only I knew where to start!
